Tatebayashi Solar Park

This solar project was completed in only four months in response to power shortages following the tsunami in March 2011. It was kept to under 500 kW to expedite the approval process and grid access to initially supply our data processing center during the ensuing power crisis.

- It makes use of a former factory site in a residential area that was unsuitable for housing. Our solar solution is a clean alternative that fits in with its surroundings.
Grid access to supply solar power to our data processing center

- Supplied approx; 50% of our Tokyo office's peak electricity needs, duning post-tsunami power crisis.
- One of Japanese sunniest regions.

Miyazaki SolarWay

This photovoltaic power station is tailored to the local geography and environmental conditions. It achieved its purpose of gaining developmental and operational insights to take our solar solutions nationwide, by:
- Verifying the quality, safety and cost of power station construction
- Verifying the performance and durability of materials used in modules, components, etc.
- Establishing sound maintenance practices and long-term feasibility through sale of electricity
- Promoting and educating environmental values for the benefit of the local community

This project in Japan's sunniest region is bringing new life to the local community by:
- Utilizing a former maglev train test track
- Ensuring durability by combating salt damage, high humidity and lightening strikes
- Reducing costs with locally procured equipment and remote monitoring via the Internet
